Rawlings KB17 Pattern Gloves
The final installment in our list of the best slow pitch softball gloves is going to be a specific pattern of Rawlings glove. This pattern is the KB17 named for professional star Kris Bryant. Kris uses a 12.25" glove at third base. However, that 12.25" length is an extra 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch longer than what most players decide to use when patrolling the hot corner.
We have found that this 12.25" length glove with an infield shape is excellent for baseball players that are transitioning over to playing slow pitch sofftball. The KB17 is the pattern for you if you want a bit of a longer glove, but are attracted to one with the distinct infield look, shape and feel.
As you may be able to imagine though, this glove won't be relegated to just infield use. The length allows it to function extremely well in the outfield as it is just slightly shorter than the very popular 12.5" gloves that are commonly used out there.
