Best Slow Pitch Softball Gloves In 2024
Wilson A2000 Slow Pitch Softball Gloves
The A2000s have been the creme de la creme of the baseball scene since they were first introduced to the market in 1957. And actually, when the A2000 was originally released it was considered the first glove to be made without a major blemish. The same plus more could be said for these Slow Pitch A2000s built in the 21st century.
All of our slow pitch A2000s will be at least 13 inches in length. Those long lengths will make them perfect for any position on a slow pitch diamond. 13 inch gloves (or longer) always work well in the outfield as you can sacrafice a little bit of transfer time for improved range. But as well, since a slow pitch softball is so large in its circumference you can use larger gloves on the infield in slow pitch. That larger circumference ball won't get easily lost in the long length of the glove like a small circumference baseball might get lost.
And each of our A2000 slow pitch gloves will also feature Wilson's SuperSkin backing which brings all sorts of benefits to the glove...
- It makes the gloves lightweight
- The backing of the glove is stronger (when compared to regular leather)
- SuperSkin material is super moisture repellant
- The glove's break-in time is improved
What Are Players Saying About The A2000 Slow Pitch Gloves?
"I've had this for about one month. Feels great. Looks great. I play shortstop for a softball team (and used to be a D1 athlete), so I've had my share of ball gloves. This one is very nice indeed." - Adam, JG Customer
Rawlings R9 Slow Pitch Softball Gloves
Similar to the A2000 series above, the Rawlings R9 gloves have an impressive track record in the baseball market. This line of gloves with soft, but quality leather has also been known also been known as Gamers in the past. And for the first time, JustGloves has been able to carry them as slow pitch models (and even better...these R9 slow pitch gloves are exclusive to us).
This style of glove is nearly perfect for slow pitch players. The general wish list for individuals playing slow pitch when it comes to their glove is the following:
- Large
- Easy to break in.
Well, the R9 meets both requirements First off, we offer four models of the R9 slow pitch gloves and they range in length from 13 inches to 15 inches. The R9s definitely are large. And secondly, they won't be a chore to break in. Rawlings advertises that these gloves will come with only 20% of the break in left to the player and this customer quote confirms just that, "The glove [was] truly 80% broken-in".

Similar to the R9s, these Player Series models will (1) be exclusive to JustGloves (2) combine large lengths and (3) offer softness to create a model of glove that's irrsistable to a slow pitch player. If you're the kind of player that has a 9-5 grind keeping you from getting out for a little slow pitch practice, you'll want to pick this glove up. After your first couple of games this upcoming season, it should be broken in nicely and ready to go. You won't have to touch it outside of games and it should treat you well!
More Reasons To Buy A Miken Player Series+
- Available in four sizes: 13", 13.5", 14" and 15"
- The PORON XRD Palm Pad protects the hand during the catch

Rawlings KB17 Pattern Gloves

The final installment in our list of the best slow pitch softball gloves is going to be a specific pattern of Rawlings glove. This pattern is the KB17 named for professional star Kris Bryant. Kris uses a 12.25" glove at third base. However, that 12.25" length is an extra 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch longer than what most players decide to use when patrolling the hot corner.
We have found that this 12.25" length glove with an infield shape is excellent for baseball players that are transitioning over to playing slow pitch sofftball. The KB17 is the pattern for you if you want a bit of a longer glove, but are attracted to one with the distinct infield look, shape and feel.
As you may be able to imagine though, this glove won't be relegated to just infield use. The length allows it to function extremely well in the outfield as it is just slightly shorter than the very popular 12.5" gloves that are commonly used out there.
Player Opinion On The KB17 Pattern:
"Very light glove! It's the perfect size for utility players that only want to buy one glove for both the infield and outfield" - Enrique , JG Customer
