The Easton Synergy Fastpitch Series gloves are specifically designed for the female fastpitch player. This series is made from natural tumbled steer hide which gives a game ready feel and makes for quick and easy break in. The Synergy Fastpitch Series features smaller hand openings and narrow fingers stalls designed to better fit the female fastpitch player. They also feature wider webs to better fit an 11 inch or 12 inch softball. The patent pending Ideal Fit system, helps give a great fit and make the glove comfortable on the hand. The Lock Down adjustable quick binding straps also allow the player to adjust the tightness of the glove for comfortable fit. Free Shipping!

Pros: I got this for my daughter after we just couldn't seem to get her Louisville Slugger broken in. This is a nice mitt for the price. It's easy to break in and comfortable. My daughter starting using this at age 10 and it wasn't too big for her to handle. The last time we went to a catching lesson, there were THREE of these mitts in the tunnel. Her instructor and the high school catcher who was helping him both had these too.

Cons: The black color on the inside is starting to rub off/fade away a little and the gray at the edges has darkened a bit. There's not much contrast anymore. It doesn't look quite as pretty as it used to, but the laces still seem good and it's working fine.

Pros: Easy to break in. Has a great feel. Has the feel of a more expensesive mitt. For the money i'm impressed!!!

Sure. A 33 inch fastpitch catchers mitt would be a good size for a High School age (or older) player.

My daughter loved this mitt and now its time for a new one but it is discontinued. Is there something similar out there? Kevin

The mitts that we currently have available that are most similar to the Easton Synergy Fastpitch Series (SYN2FP) Catcher's Mitt are going to be the Mizuno Franchise Fastpitch Series (GXS90F1) and the Wilson Pro Soft Yak Series (A1500FPCM13BK) Fastpitch Catcher's Mitt. The Mizuno Franchize mitt is known to be specifically designed to fit for females hands, so this mitt will be more similar to the Easton synergy model mitt.
